  • Prioritise Tasks – It’s a lot easier to ensure good time management in business when you know exactly what needs to be done and when. Five minutes of distraction here and there might not seem like a big deal, but it quickly adds up. You can ensure good time management by avoiding distractions and utilising as much of the work day as possible. If you work from home, this could mean keeping household chores for after work or working in a separate room to other people.
  • Delegate Tasks When Necessary – There is nothing wrong with asking for help in business. One of the biggest causes of poor time management is having too much to do. Don’t be afraid to say no and don’t be afraid to negotiate deadlines. With less to do, you will find it easier to manage your time. Of course, there is a fine line between not taking on too much and turning down too much. So, this could take some trial and error.
